"Just Look on the bright side--You're roughly six feet tall"
-Christofer Drew Ingle, NeverShoutNever!

In alternative artist, Christofer Drew Ingle's, song, "The Brightside", he reminds us of the importance of looking at the positive side of every negative situation. In this tune, Ingle puts two obstacles before the main character in this song. These obstacles prove to the boy, with "all the burdens of life" on his back, that his situation could always be worse. "The Brightside" is meaningful to me because I have always had trouble understanding that my problems are not the worst in the world, but when I listened to this song, I was able to put my troubles into prospective. While we worry about petty things, there are people in our world that our dying of starvation and disease. I believe that this song could change many people's view on things. So, sit back and ponder this thought--Are your problems really as bad as they seem? Or do you just simply need to look on the bright side?
